Attached to the HUG’s Department of Community, Primary and Emergency Medicine, the UIMPV offers care to anyone (victim, perpetrator, witness) aged 16 or over who is faced with a situation of current or past violence, regardless of the type of violence (psychological, physical, sexual and/or economic) and the context in which it occurred (couple, family, street, workplace), in collaboration with all the partners in Geneva’s medical, social, psychological and legal network.

- Assessment of the impact of violence on health (physical, psychological and social), on quality of life and on family and friends;
- Crisis work, support and counselling;
- Risk assessment and information about help and protection;
- Forensic assessment;
- Individual, couple and family therapy tailored to situations of violence;
- Referral and support to the Geneva medicopsychosociolegal network;
- Counselling for professionals.
