Aids-Hilfe Schweiz is committed to ensuring that everyone can live their sexuality with dignity, freedom and equal rights.
It improves the quality of life of people with HIV and those close to them.
Aids-Hilfe Schweiz prevents new infections in target groups with an increased risk of exposure through effective prevention programs and raise awareness of safer sex and safer use among the population.
It gives a voice to sexual health and rights issues in Switzerland by taking a stand on social and health issues and contributing our expertise to social and political opinion-forming processes.
It promotes low-threshold access to healthcare, including for those for whom this is difficult.
It pursues an inclusive approach and combat discrimination.
Prestations
The following services are available:
- Prevention programs, campaigns and publications related to HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases;
- Online counseling service for gay men and all other men who have sex with men (Dr. Gay);
- Free legal advice on legal issues directly related to HIV/AIDS (by telephone or in writing);
- Reporting office for discrimination and personal violations in the area of HIV/AIDS;
- Further training courses for professionals in the field of sexual health, in particular the prevention of HIV and STIs (Academy);
- Online orderable tests for home use, condoms, femidoms, lubricants, etc.
